La Jeune Martyne: The Angel

Inspired by Paul de la Roche

She floats in oblivion, helpless with solitude. The darkness embraces her, like the lover once she had. Her beautiful body once clothed with white garments, has faded to a gloomy color, for her imprisonment has been too long. The dark man on the horse watches her with pride, day and night.

Her halo becomes so brightening, like a shiny star. The splendor and radiance of her corpse, reaches for her soul. Once again she becomes the beautiful angel who was lost in the past.
