White Walls

Everyday at school

I hear the first bell.

I look, white walls

and white floors beneath.

I hear the laughs

from my friends and hear

the cheers from cheerleaders.

Brother, Sister

Me and you brother and sister.

We both be same.

Me and you

coming from school.

Me and you

washing our legs.

Me and you

do hair.

Me and you scared of snakes.

Me and you like butterflies.

Me and you come running down the road,

Mama says dinner’s ready.

Me and you got friends

got 8 and 12

got black and blond

be loving ourselves.
